The Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Lugo (Apehl) will be represented at the 4th Official Spanish Hospitality Championship – Tapas and Pinchos, organized by Hostelería de España, by chef José Luis Pardo from restaurant El Boni, who won first prize from the technical jury in the final of the latest edition of the Lugo Tapas Competition.

21.01.2026. The event took place at the Galicia stand at the International Tourism Trade Fair (Fitur), being held in Madrid. The president of the Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Lugo (Apehl), Cheché Real, was joined by Xosé Merelles, Director of Turismo de Galicia; Javier Arias, the Xunta’s delegate in Lugo; and María José Gómez, Regional Minister for Rural Affairs.

This Wednesday, 21 January, the president of the Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Lugo (Apehl), Cheché Real, will unveil a new edition of the tourism-and-gastronomy guide series for the province of Lugo, ...E para comer, Lugo, at the International Tourism Trade Fair in Madrid (Fitur), for the eighteenth consecutive year.

12.12.2025. The professional jury, for its part, distributed its awards among El Boni, Paprica, Tosar by Boni, San Marcos Café and Pulpería O Castelo.

27.11.2025. Five leading professionals from the hospitality and tourism sector will be in charge of evaluating the 12 finalist tapas of the 20th Lugo Tapas Competition this weekend. The event is organized by the Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Lugo (Apehl) with the sponsorship of the Lugo City Council.
