The “…E para comer, Lugo” stand completes its journey with La Vuelta 2026 after 21 stages promoting the province.

14.09.2026. The …E para comer, Lugo stand brought its journey with La Vuelta Ciclista a España 2026 to an end yesterday in Granada, after accompanying one of the leading events on the international cycling calendar throughout its 21 stages. For the fourteenth consecutive year, the Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Lugo (Apehl), with the support of the Xunta de Galicia through Turismo de Galicia, took advantage of the event’s high profile to promote the province of Lugo and its gastronomic and tourism attractions.

The initiative began on 22 August in Monaco and concluded this Sunday, 13 September, in Granada. Over more than three weeks, the Association’s team travelled to different locations across Spain following the route of La Vuelta and showcasing Lugo’s tourism and gastronomic offering to the various audiences connected with the competition.

As in previous editions, the …E para comer, Lugo stand was set up in the departure areas of each of the 21 stages, specifically in the designated VIP areas. There, the Association’s staff welcomed cyclists, sponsors, visitors, public officials, media representatives and other guests, offering them appetisers made with local products covered by different quality labels.

The initiative also provided an opportunity to distribute promotional material about the province and its products, as well as copies of the latest edition of the ...E para comer, Lugo tourism and gastronomy guide, further promoting the resources and experiences that Lugo has to offer as a destination.

During this edition, the route took Lugo’s promotional campaign from Monaco to Granada, passing through numerous towns and cities over the course of the 21 stages. In the final stretch, the stand was present, among other locations, in Vera (Almería), Almuñécar (Granada), Jaén, Palma del Río (Córdoba), Cortegana (Huelva), Dos Hermanas (Seville), El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), Vélez-Málaga and La Calahorra (Granada), before concluding its journey in the city of Granada.

With this latest participation, Apehl consolidates an initiative that has now been running for fourteen consecutive editions and that provides an opportunity to showcase the province’s gastronomy and tourism through an event with significant drawing power and national and international visibility. Its continuous presence throughout the entire route also enables direct contact with audiences from different parts of Spain and abroad.
